There are often many factors to consider when you are looking at new homes in the UK; and these can vary from person to person. The avid gardeners of the country may have a "large garden" on their checklist, as well as a "roomy shed" and a "vegetable patch", but what about the proximity to some of the UKs largest annual garden shows? These shows are prestigious events of the gardening calendar year. Gardeners flock here to see an abundance of floral displays, as well as finding the products they want for their own outdoor spaces.

RHS Show Tatton Park

If you are lucky enough to live in the Cheshire area, you may already know about the RHS Show at Tatton Park. For those who are not so familiar with this area of the country, you can find Tatton Park in Knutsford, along with many quaint shops and restaurants. Some of the features of this year's flower show (21st-25th July) include vegetable competitions, interactive allotment areas for children, and new plant varieties displayed in flower beds .

The Malvern Autumn Show

Just south of Worcester you can find the Malvern Autumn Show on the 25th-26th September this year . Living in this part of the country can be a great joy, especially when you are able to enjoy the autumnal festivities. Luckily you can choose between older properties, and newer homes made by homebuilders such as David Wilson Homes. When September rolls around, you can see RHS displays at Malvern, as well as giant vegetable competitions, cookery demonstrations, and the world of animals.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The annual flower show in Chelsea is held in May , so you will have plenty of time to get ready for 2011. Out of all the flower shows, this is the biggest one held in the UK each year. People come from far and wide to visit Chelsea, most likely because the biggest names of the business make an appearance here. Visiting Chelsea is still easy if you live north of Birmingham as there are fast trains between Manchester Piccadilly and London Euston throughout the day.
